The band was formed in autumn 1995 initially by Zak (Vocals), Thomas (Guitar), Robert (Guitar), Harry (Drums) and Thanos (Bass) as a remedy for teenage boredom. First musical attempts were a combination of the New York Hardcore sound with Emo-Punk at that time, while having a D.I.Y. political attitude. O.B.S.'s rookie concert took place in Villa Amalias Squat (winter 1996), in Athens. Ever since, the band has gone through a lot of changes concerning line-up, musical orientation and political attitude. Zak and Robert remained as the only founding members of the current line up. Peter joined the band in 2000 as a bass player at first, then switching to drums, his natural position, in 2004. Mike came along in late 2005, playing the bass and saving the day. http://www.euronews.com/ Morocco's 21st century day of terror is remembered every May 16. It is 10 years since Casablanca was rocked by five explosions in twenty minutes. They killed 45 people and injured over 100, the country's worst-ever terrorist attack. Several NGOs got together in the city on Thursday to call for peace and unity to counter extremist ideologies. "We are still living in this painful life; we ask all Muslims in Morocco to become a model for Arab and Muslim world and to not participate in terrorism," said victim Mohammed Karam. In Rabat the 10th anniversary was marked by Salafists who say that ever since the bombings they have been persecuted and imprisoned. "We have organised this sit-in to demand the truth about the explosions of 16 May 2003 in Casablanca. Ten yea...

Travel video about destination Casablanca in Morocco. Casablanca, a city of many faces, Oriental yet modern. From being a former Berber settlement to today's commercial metropolis, around 80 percent of Moroccan industry is concentrated in Casablanca, the country's financial, technological and commercial centre and also Africa's largest seaport. Jutting into the sea is the Hassan II Mosque. 'It was He who created Heaven and Earth in six days!', this paragraph from the Koran inspired Hassan II to build his momentous mosque that extends for nine hectares, a superlative construction that could comfortably accommodate the entire Petersdom in Rome. Casablanca is a large city surrounded by many ancient villages where life has changed little since ancient times. The Stade Mohammed V is the cen...
